A 2016 beast, some would say a workstation. This heavy piece of elegance was given to me by my brother-in-law. Couldn’t be more grateful for it. Got me through university, many gaming and coding nights. Never had any problems with it except it weighing a metric but ton.

Running Pop!_OS since the beginning. Found it just works. 24.04 was amazing, gaming worked great on that. Now im on the 24.04 closely following COSMIC’s development. But something NixOS related is cooking up in the lab. Spoiler: This wont run PopOS much longer.

Software running on this bad boy

An oldie, you can hear the bones (HDDs) shaking when being booted up. It was on the shelf for quite some time but now it’s used for experimenting with NixOS. Could I do that in a VM, sure, but where the fun in that. And with the current storage prices, 500 GBs, I’m a rich man.
